ENTERTAIN THIS HOLIDAY WITH ZELLERS AND PEPSI® CONTEST
HOW TO ENTER
The “Entertain This Holiday With Zellers and Pepsi®” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Zellers Inc. (the “Sponsor”). The Contest will run in all Zellers family restaurants commencing Friday, November 4, 2011 and ending Thursday, December 29, 2011 (the “Contest Period”). All Zellers family restaurants are participating in this Contest.
There are three (3) ways to enter the contest.
- When you purchase any participating PepsiCo soft drink and participating turkey menu item (*see list of participating menu items below) at a Zellers family restaurant during the Contest Period you will receive a card with a unique PIN code from your server. Input your PIN code at www.zellersrestaurants.com to enter the contest. Each PIN code can only be entered once.
- When you purchase any participating PepsiCo soft drink and participating turkey menu item (*see list of participating menu items below) at a Zellers family restaurant during the Contest Period and use your HBC Rewards Card (if you are not a member of the HBC Rewards Program, you may become a member– there is no charge for this), you will receive an automatic bonus entry into the Contest (plus an additional 2500 Rewards points). The posting date of the entry is the posting date shown on your HBC Rewards Card statement. Entries from unauthorized card use or purchases made with lost, stolen, or fraudulent HBC Rewards Cards are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for HBC Rewards Card entries that are not fully received or recorded due to failure by an HBC Rewards Card holder to provide accurate or up-to-date personal contact information to the HBC Rewards Program. In case of dispute, an HBC Rewards Card entry will be deemed made by the registered holder of the HBC Rewards Card, as per Hudson's Bay Company's records.
All entries via HBC Rewards Card are eligible for the Grand Prize packages only.
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Submit your name and address to the contest office (address below) and you will receive a PIN card in the mail for entry online.

Maximum of one (1) entry per person per day for each method of entry.
If it is discovered in the ordinary course of running the Contest that an entrant has attempted to enter more than one (1) time per entry method per day, that entrant may, at the discretion of the Sponsor, be disqualified from the Contest. Should it be discovered that an entrant is using the aid of computer/software programs to auto-fill entries, that entrant will be immediately disqualified from the Contest. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify all such entrants from future contests conducted by the Sponsor without further notice.
ELIGIBILITY
This Contest is open to all individual residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of November 4, 2011 except: employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor PepsiCo Canada ULC, the owner or licensee of the participating soft drink brands (“PepsiCo Canada”), their parent, related and affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies and the members of the households of such employees, representatives and agents. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and all decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding on all entrants in all matters relating to this Contest.
THE PRIZES
GRAND PRIZE
There are two (2) Grand Prizes available to be won. Each Grand Prize consists of:
- One (1) 46" Full HD 3D Television with Dynamic Edge LED, Motionflow XR 400, Wi-Fi, Internet video and Skype
- One (1) 5.1 Channel Surround Sound System Experience 3D Home Cinema with Wi-Fi built-in and Wireless Rear
- One (1) Sony Playstation 3 Gaming System with 320 GB Hard Drive
The approximate retail value of each Grand Prize is five thousand dollars ($5,000).
The Grand Prize may not be exchanged for cash, is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-salable, and must be accepted "as awarded". At its election and sole discretion, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any portion of the Grand Prize Package with a prize of equivalent or greater retail value.
SECONDARY PRIZES
Each day during the Contest Period, there will be one Secondary Prize available to be won, consisting of a Sony® Bloggie Touch™ HD video camera (model number MHSTS20L). The approximate retail value of each Secondary Prize is $200. Only online entries (identified as number 1 in the Method of Entry section) are eligible for the Secondary Prizes.
THE DRAWS
Secondary Prize Draws: One (1) entry will be drawn from all eligible Secondary Prize entries received during each Daily Draw Period at 11:00 AM ET in Toronto, Ontario, on the Monday immediately following the applicable Daily Draw Period. For the purpose of this Contest, a "Daily Draw Period" is defined as 12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. ET on a given day during the Contest Period. Only online entries (identified as number 1 in the Method of Entry section) are eligible for the Secondary Prizes.
Grand Prize Draw: A random draw for the Grand Prizes will be held in Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:00 am ET from all eligible entries received throughout the Contest Period.
For each of the draws, each selected entrant will be contacted by phone or e-mail at the phone number or e-mail address supplied on their Contest entry. In order to be declared the winner of a prize, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, at a mutually convenient time, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question, sign and return (within ten (10) days of receipt) a declaration and release form acceptable to the Sponsor and PepsiCo Canada. If a selected entrant declines the prize, incorrectly answers the skill testing question, cannot be located, does not return the declaration and release within 10 days of receipt, or otherwise does not comply with the contest rules, the entrant forfeits the prize.
The odds of winning a Secondary Prize depend on the number of online eligible entries made on a given day during the Contest Period. The odds of winning a Grand Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the entire Contest Period.
PRIVACY & CONSENT TO USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
By entering this Contest entrants consent to the use of their name, city of residence, voice, image on videotape and/or photograph in any publicity/promotion and programming purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media used by the Sponsor, PepsiCo Canada or their promoters and their advertising and promotional agencies, in perpetuity, without any payment or compensation. By entering this Contest electronically and voluntarily providing their personal information, entrants consent and agree to the Sponsor's collection, use, and disclosure of the entrant's personal information for the purpose of administering the Contest, including contacting an entrant in relation to the Contest and disclosing a list of winners. The Sponsor will not use an entrant's personal information for any other reason, nor will the Sponsor otherwise disclose an entrant's personal information to any third party.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
By participating in this Contest, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Contest Rules.
The Sponsor and PepsiCo Canada shall not bear any liability for:
- the loss, theft or misuse of a prize or any part of a prize
- any property damage, personal injury or misfortune in any way attributable to this contest or the prize or any part of the prize
- any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest, or in the announcement of winners
No responsibility will be taken by the Sponsor or PepsiCo Canada for lost, delayed, mutilated or misdirected entries, or computer system failure. No responsibility will be taken by the Sponsor for any failure of the Contest web site during the Contest or for any problems or technical malfunction of a telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail, on-line, or Internet entry to be received by the Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer or property related to or resulting from participating in, or downloading any material relating to, the Contest. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest without notice should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification by the judges and will be declared invalid if they are forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
The Sponsor reserves the right (subject to the approval of the RACJ, if required, in respect of the Province of Quebec) to suspend, modify or terminate this Contest and/or these official Contest Rules and Regulations at any time, for any reason, without any prior notice.
QUEBEC RESIDENTS
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
PEPSICO CANADA
PepsiCo Canada is not connected to the management or administration of this contest. It is not responsible for the storage of personal information.
